Our Coffee and Conversation for August is on how you feel about your age. As you consider the questions below, take a glance at Iris Apfel’s quote, on calling herself the Oldest Living Teenager.

Iris Apfel, (1921-2024) was a fashion icon, model at the age of 97 and author of a book titled, Accidental Icon. Her ideas on age are captured below.

Having a sense of wonder, a sense of humor, and a sense of curiosity – these are my tonic. They keep you young, childlike, open to new people and things, ready for another adventure.
 
I never want to be an old fuddy-duddy. I hold the self-proclaimed record for being the World’s Oldest Living Teenager and I intend to keep it that way.

As every month, we have two options. You can attend one, or both, as often the discussion and energy can be really different and you may find yourself expanding your ‘horizons’.
