The dictionary definition states that “Education is both the act of teaching knowledge to others and the act of receiving knowledge from someone else”.
In our monthly COFFEE AND CONVERSATION meetings, we have each been lucky enough to give, and receive, personal wisdoms to the benefit of the group. So, in our final session of 2024, we are going to discuss and explore the many facets of education and learning and what it means to you.
Our chats are always open and often find their own flow and momentum but, in the meantime, here are some things to ponder: What is/are your preferred method(s) of learning? Written, verbal, practical, observational, collaborative or something else?
What is the most important ‘learning’ you have ever had and why? Is there anything specific you have taken away from our monthly sessions that has really changed things for you? If so, what is it and how has it played out.
Do you have a muse or a sage? If so, what have they done/said that has impacted on you so much? Or are you the sage? What education have you passed on and how did it pan out?
Great education consists of engaging, exploring, explaining, elaborating, and evaluating so please come along to communicate, converse and celebrate with us. If you have never joined us before, please take this opportunity to come along. You can share as little or as much as you want. There is never any pressure. The sessions are also FREE and are not recorded or posted on any kind of social media.
