WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOURSELF?

For some of us, that could be a pretty tough question to answer.

But it’s the topic we’ll be discussing at our next Coffee and Conversation on, you guessed it, Valentine’s Day Wednesday February 14th..

There are a variety of theories about Saint Valentine, who he was and what he did. However, a University of Kansas English professor named Oruch determined that Chaucer was the first to link love with St. Valentine in his 14th-century works “The Parliament of Fowls” and “The Complaint of Mars,” thus inventing Valentine’s Day as we know it today.

For this session you can send yourself the proverbial chocolates, flowers and champagne by using adjectives that honour what you really love and respect about yourself. Sometimes we can’t always see what’s really reflected in the mirror, so don’t make it hazy, blurry or shy away from your personal talents. Be bold and honest and bring along 2 or 3 descriptive words and let’s have a group celebration of the gifts that lie therein.
