Have you even been into a shop and seen an outfit that made your heart sing?
Well, this happened to me a few weeks ago when I was in Edinburgh.
To cut a very long story short, my friend and I went to a venue, only to find out it was the wrong date. On the way there, we happened to pass by a beautiful boutique

In the window was this amazing raincoat – a mix of classic trench, in A line styling with furry fabric and a quilted lining to keep you toasty. I so wanted that coat. So much so, I dreamt about it all night and couldn’t wait to get to the boutique the following day and snap it up.
Luckily, they had my size, along with the trousers (just one pair left) and the cashmere sweater which has asymmetric striped sleeves (very wood). I loved my new clothes so much that I wore the outfit straight out of the store. The lovely, and very accommodating, staff packed up the clothes I was originally wearing and I collected them later that evening on the way to the venue – this time on the correct night.
On Tuesday 13th December, our Coffee and Conversation group will be discussing your favourite outfits/garments. I’ll be honest, this outfit will not feature as I have something very special to talk about which may shock or horrify the very stylish amongst us!
